Whether to vaccinate or not is a difficult decision for many people to make. Doctors and vets vigorously recommend vaccinations (it is the backbone for any practice and they are increasingly persuaded to do so by their associations) and fear is a frequently used tactic to persuade those who are hesitant. However, there is growing concern in the alternative health profession and even within the medical profession itself, that vaccination is not all it is professed to be.
Many papers are constantly being published by concerned medical scientists who recognise both the ineffectiveness of orthodox vaccination and the side effects. The diseases the youngster has been vaccinated against can still occur, but either in a different form so is not recognised, or it may not be accepted because of the vaccine.
Dr Richard Pitcairn, is an American veterinarian, now veterinary homoeopath. After graduating, he worked for five years in an immunology laboratory. When he decided to move on, he said that ‘vaccination is great in theory, but doesn’t work in practice’. He claimed that the distemper vaccine was the cause of the far more serious dog disease, parvo.
Many serious diseases are caused by vaccinations; studies in Japan show that vaccinating a child from two years rather than six weeks old has fewer problems and SIDS disappears. This finding is largely rejected by mainstream medicine.
Other concerned medical practitioners are finding similar results.
Homoeopathy has always recognised the link between vaccinations and chronic diseases. When making your decision to vaccinate, don’t undervalue your own thoughts and feelings. Take time to consider all the angles.
Don’t rush and don’t be pushed into anything by anyone. It is best to trust no-one and suspect everyone until you have made your decision.
The Immune System
While the baby is in its infancy, the immune system is very immature, with disease protection coming from mother’s milk. As the baby grows, the immune system gathers experience from various pathogens which invade the body in the normal way – through the mouth, nose, etc. This gives it a chance to deal with them before they invade the body.
So antibodies may not develop as the pathogen was prevented from invading. The presence of antibodies in the blood tell us the pathogen has reached a much deeper level. The body was not able to prevent invasion as the immune system was not strong enough. This means the presence of antibodies is not necessarily a good thing.
One of the best ways for anybody to achieve a healthy immune system is through good food. If the immune system is working well, the youngster will shrug off chronic disease. A good diet is a natural diet.
Immunisation itself is not necessarily a faulty idea. The problems arise from vaccination and how the vaccines are made and used. To immunise orally (especially using homeoprophylaxis), a healthy, mature youngster against a potentially serious disease is one thing. To inoculate directly into the bloodstream, a very immature youngster against an uncommon diseases is quite another. It can be overwhelming for the immune system to receive more than one immune stimulant at a time, whether by vaccination or any other way.
Flu Vaccines In Pregnancy
An excellent article outlining the problems with flu vaccines in pregnancy by Dr Brogen. I highly recommend you reading this before getting any vaccine during pregnancy.
Vaccines are routinely started at very early ages and are repeated regularly. They are directly injected into the blood stream, bypassing all the body’s natural defenses. An immature immune system is particularly vulnerable with more problems arising the younger the patient vaccinated.
Vaccines are frequently given as a multiple vaccine, giving the immune system a much tougher job to deal with, than if they were introduced one at a time.
A common tendency in animal practice is to give the vaccines at the same time as the animal is undergoing surgery, again making a much tougher job for the immune system.
Some immune systems can’t cope with the overload and the patient succumbs to one of the diseases in the vaccine, one they are already harbouring, an adverse reaction to the vaccine (known as vaccinosis) and fails to recover or recover fully.
Vaccines are made from toxic substances which are then ‘processed’ through animal tissue (ethical and cross species issues) and ‘stabilised’ with the use of hazardous chemicals (mercury, aluminium, formaldehyde, etc). This is then injected directly into the blood stream, by-passing all the subtle levels of the body’s immune system. The resulting antibodies are claimed to be protective. But antibodies are only produced when the disease has gone to a deep level. Other forms of defense, not medically recognised, keeps the disease at a superficial level.
There only studies done on the long term side-effects of vaccinations have discovered that unvaccinated children are far healthier than vaccinated ones. Short term medical claims of success tend to be exaggerated and fail to take into consideration other contributing factors at the time the vaccines were introduced, such as improved diet and hygiene (as history verifies).
The effects of vaccines depend on the vaccine and the strength of the immune system of the recipient. Vaccinosis can show up in a variety of health issues, from mild to life threatening, from whining inconsolably to autoimmune disorders and neurological problems, even death.
Medical doctors are taught at medical school that it was the vaccines that were responsible for the decline in infectious diseases. In fact, it was better hygiene, living conditions, sanitation, drinking water and nutrition that was responsible for the improved health of the people. Check out these graphs to see for yourself.
In the late 1980’s, American vets noticed an unusual disease, fibrosarcoma, in a large number of cats. The site, between the shoulder blades, was unusual for tumours, but the normal place for vaccines. They found that the risk for this disease was 50% higher in cats who had had a single vaccine, 127% higher for those cats who had had a double vaccine and 175% higher for those who had had three or four vaccines.
In a study done on vaccinated and unvaccinated cats, when feline enteritis was introduced neither group became sick. Antibodies were present six years after the single vaccine in the vaccinated group. As a result some vets now recommending a titre test (blood antibody count) to see if they consider it necessary to boost the vaccine.

Governments are heavily influenced by the corporation lobbyists and rarely go beyond them to get a balanced view. However, if you live in what is termed a democracy, then no government can make vaccination compulsory. But, they can act as if they can. In Australia, things changed as of January 2016. Vaccines are NOT necessary to attend school. Click here for what to say if you are having your child vaccinated against your wishes.
