how to use this course
This course was created for people who are already familiar with using homeopathic remedies and want an alternative option to treat their animals in emergency situations. Emergencies tend to happen on public holidays, Sundays or in the middle of the night, times when their homeopath is normally not available. Their only option is to consult a mainstream vet, which most do reluctantly.
Many emergencies can be dealt with by competent and knowledgable people, at least enough to get them through the time. Of course, there will always be situations when you have to consult an emergency vet, but the idea here is to provide you with tools to minimise those events.
People have a habit of jumping to the relevant section of a book/course without reading the first part. PLEASE DON’T DO THIS HERE!
IT’S IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ THROUGH MODULE 1 BEFORE TAKING ANY ACTION. You need to understand how homeopathy works and what needs your action and what doesn’t.
I recommend that you do this action BEFORE an emergency presents itself.
In addition, you’ll need to purchase the relevant homeopathic remedies to be prepared.
Appropriate action is not only helpful, it can save your animal a lot of extra trauma over and above what they’re already dealing with. It can also save you a lot of anxiety and an awful lot of coin. Emergency vets don’t come cheap!
Please also note that this work is showing you how to deal with emergencies. It is NOT showing you how to deal with everyday conditions.
Acute conditions, such as emergencies are those conditions that come on suddenly and last a short time, resulting in either complete resolution or death.
Chronic conditions are those that tend to come on slowly and remain with you for life (medically speaking). Generally, you don’t die from them, you die with them.
Treating acute and chronic conditions homeopathically is very different, not just with different remedies, but with different potencies and dosage frequency.
So please don’t treat your chronically sick animal in the same way I’m teaching you about emergencies. They are poles apart.
I always recommend you check in with your homeopath after the event, even if you have been successful. There may be the potential of a problem later that you’ve overlooked or don’t know about. A quick phone call or email giving details can put your mind at rest.
I have to say that I am appalled by how some people use homeopathy. It ISN’T the same as drugs.
Often people will get a vet diagnosis (which could be wrong) then search online for more natural solutions. That’s great when it works. But often then the remedy is given on an ongoing basis.
THIS CAN BE HARMFUL.
Homeopathy is much, much safer than drugs, but by continuously giving a remedy, which is either unsuitable or has done its job, you can create problems.
This point is particularly important when dealing with animals, who don’t have a direct communication with us.
IT’S IMPORTANT TO CHECK IN WITH A HOMEOPATH if you’re doing your own thing. We don’t bite! Most will give you some time freely to discuss a problem, even though we can’t prescribe without a consultation.
