Course Complete

A case for you to practice your skills.

If you have absorbed the information on this course, this will be relatively easy for you to tackle. This is a real case, but treated medically rather than homeopathically.

The vets do the best they can with what they have, but you are now in a position to do much more.

Read the case, consider, go back to the course and notes and only then look to see what you would have done. It goes without saying that you would contact me or your homeopath (who may advise on veterinary treatment).

You just need a cool head, patience and trust in the process.

I’m warning you, it is a heart breaking case from a subscriber. I have not edited it.

Daisy

Daisy was a street cat who came to my door every day for food. One day she did not turn up. I looked for her but to no avial. A couple of days later, on my return home from work at the time, the neighbours told me that she was whimpering beneath a parked car. I could not see her properly but knew that she was injured. I asked animal welfare to come help me get her out and they did.

I remember the gasps that they let out as they dragged her out. She had been burnt from the waist down due to having been trapped in the bonnet of a car next to the engine. She had probably gone in there for the warmth and had become stuck.

They offered to take her to put her down. I refused and rushed off to the emergency vet (11.00 pm). She was aghast at the sight and started to clean her up under sedation. Daisy was already full but full of maggots. By the time she was done it was 3.00 am. The vet told me to bring her the next day to amputate her legs.

Instead the next day I took her to my own vet and together for the next six months we brought her back to life. The skin grew back on. No bones had been broken. The muscles and tendons were nearly all there and she had the will to live. Dr Borg told me that it would not be wise to put her on the streets again even because she limped quite a lot.

So I took her home. What reminded me of all this when I read the piece was that, due to all the medication and intrusion Daisy, already a difficult cat, became bad tempered and aggressive. She was not happy at home and would do vindictive things all the time. I ignored them and life went on.

Hint

Apart from making her comfortable, safe and warm, with water down and a quiet place to recover, what remedies would you have used, what potencies and how frequent?

First, list the conditions that need healing. That will help.

How I would have treated Daisy is in the next lesson. But have a go yourself before going there.

This was an emergency case with ongoing issues, that would also need to be addressed.
