Before we get into the natural treatment for lupus, let’s first define this health issue. The types of lupus include systemic lupus erythematosus, discoid lupus erythematosus, lupus vulgaris and drug induced lupus.
Lupus is a destructive type of skin disease. The name means ‘wolf’ as the shape and colour of the affected skin resemble the bite of a wolf.
Discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE) are inflamed areas of the skin which typically form a butterfly pattern.
The drugs that can create lupus include hydralazine, isoniazid, various anti-convulsants and procainamide.
Lupus vulgaris is the most common and severe form of tuberculosis of the skin, mostly affecting the face but the lesions do spread.
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic inflammatory issue that involves the skin, joints, kidneys, nervous system and mucous membranes, although any organ can be affected.
It is more common in women than men and can affect any age group.
Lupus is an autoimmune disease. The medical prognosis is poor. All the medical profession can offer is lupus pain management. This treatment is likely to cause more problems.
Now lets consider the natural treatment for lupus from an epigenetic approach. When you appreciate the causes of ill health, you can naturally heal them.
Doctors tend to tell you that autoimmune diseases are as a result of your genes and there is nothing you can do about it. Certainly genes do play a part, but it is minor and there is everything you can do to reverse this issue.
Your genes are responsible for the expression of your ill health when you have been negligent in the other important areas of your life – mainly diet, toxins and stress.
Humans are omnivores, but we are at the herbivore end of the scale. Eating animal protein is possible (as we know), but is one of the main causes of ill health. A vegan diet offers us much better health.
While it is not normally possible to go vegan all at once, giving up one area at a time IS possible. So giving up milk would be a good start. There are some great alternatives, such as oat milk or almond milk. Try that for a month. If you see some improvement in your health, then give up cheese for a month. Or halve your portions of meat. Or have fewer eggs. Do whatever works for you, but you will feel better. See Dr Neal Barnard’s TED talk here.
The next area to consider is your toxic overload. It’s hard to avoid toxins in today’s environment, but some toxins have a greater impact on us than do others. The ones we ingest or absorb have a greater and more deleterious effect on our health than do others. The most serious ones include:
- medical drugs
- medical vaccines
- personal care products
- toxins in our food from chemical farming or from processing
- drinking water
Believe it or not, all these are toxic. There are non-toxic personal care products. Organic food is much less toxic than non-organic food, although may still contain some heavy metals as this is not tested for. The toxins in our drinking water is nothing short of scandalous.
Replacing medical treatment with a broad acting natural treatment such as homeopathy, can help your body to naturally de-tox, as well as heal the original problem, the lupus.
Stress in a simple word which covers a multitude of emotions that we are not addressing. Good homeopathic treatment can help us with all aspects of our stress. In fact homeopathy can:
- draw a line under our genetic inheritance
- improve our food desires
- help us de-tox
- balances us so we manage stress much better.
It is unlikely that anything can beat homeopathy as the prime natural treatment for lupus. Or anything else. No wonder the pharmaceutical giants are paying anyone and everyone to deny its efficacy.
