The mainstream chronic pain management leaves a lot to be desired. The cause is never addressed, or even searched for. Pain medication, that doesn’t work for everyone and needs constant adjustment and increasing strength, can lead to liver damage. It really doesn’t matter the types of pain you have or where it is, it’s all the same.

Surgeries, that often cut the nerves, steroids and other draconian measures can also lead to further complications, that appear to be unrelated until you appreciate that it all happens in the same being.

What else can you do?

First, you want to remember when it first started. It could be from an old injury. It’s not uncommon to suffer chronic injury pain. It may have developed insidiously, so you don’t know what caused it, such as body pain or fibromyalgic pain. Even chronic back pain.

These unknown causes of pain are generally indications of chronic inflammation. And this is, almost invariable, caused by a poor diet and/or toxicity.

The standard western diet is appalling for the most part. It is high in junk food, processed food and animal protein, all of which makes us acidic and destroys our gut microbiome. This leads to all types of health problems and destroys our immunity.

Once you start on a healthy diet, your body will automatically start to unload the toxins it can. It needs help with some toxins, such as the heavy metals, so working with a practitioner, who understands the importance of this, is a good idea.

So the diet gives you better nutrition, allowing your body to work better. And helps to unload toxins, which also drag you down. There is now less of a struggle going on. The pain lessens or disappears. This results in more energy and more motivation.

Chronic pain management may fade into the dim and distant past just by removing unnecessary metal implants and improving your diet.

But not everyone with chronic pain have implants, or can remove them. Or eat badly. What then? After all you can have chronic neck pain from an injury or repetitive strain or constant tension. What then?
