The holistic approach to health is about looking at you as a whole being. That means not just your whole body. It also means the past traumas, even those long ago. It means taking into consideration how you deal with the issues in your life, emotionally as well as practically. It means looking at your diet.
Nothing is exempt. Everything is important.
Why?
How do you move on?
You are a complete in-tact-being. Physically, your foot is connected to your head. How could they not influence each other?
Your feelings are a reflection of your thoughts. How can they not influence your physical body?
Everything starts out as a thought. Thoughts come before actions. Bridges are thought about in great detail long before the first work is started on their construction.
Your nutrition is connected to your well being. How could it be otherwise? Does it matter what fuel you put in your car?
When your thoughts are consistently negative, such as anxious, fearful, anger, blaming, frustration, etc you attract more of the same. Your negative thoughts lead to negative actions and perceptions, so your belief that the world is negative proves you right. Not because you are right, but because you create your reality.
Conversely, positive thoughts of peace, love, gentleness, inclusiveness, sensitivity, tolerance leads to more of the same, so your belief that the world is positive proves you right. Not because you are right, but because you create your reality.
No-one is right. No-one is wrong. But your life will vary enormously depending on which path you take.
Positive thoughts lead to ease. Negative thoughts lead to dis-ease.
Your individuality is responsible with how you express your dis-ease, which will vary with each individual.
It can be a genetic weakness.
So, should you chase after a diagnosis? Well, it might help to work out which part of your body is causing you trouble. But you probably already know that.
Is a diagnosis helpful? It may put your mind at rest, temporarily, if you are a particularly anxious person. But a diagnosis is really only relevant to the medical profession.
Holistic practitioners, such as homeopaths, use your symptoms, rather than the diagnosis, as they are a more accurate reflection of your individual dis-ease.
Don't forget that a diagnosis can be wrong.
Doctors, and vets, provide disease care. Holistic practitioners provide health care.
The holistic approach to health is to look at what is making your dis-ease.
There are various ways to move on from these destructive thought patterns that so influence your life. But only you can change them. Because only you are responsible for you. Only you can take the initiative. Only you can do the necessary work.
When I look at some of the therapies that offer an holistic approach to health and healing, it does seem like a lot of hard work. Which perhaps few are willing to go through.
A much easier way is with homeopathy. But you need to see a professional homeopath and stick it out for the duration. So find one you can work with.
It can take a good while to unravel a lifetimes worth of dis-ease, so don’t think you will get a magic bullet that will fix everything in one consultation. That’s not being realistic.
Homeopathy is deep acting, crosses all boundaries, works as well on animals, babies, the profoundly sick and frail as well as plants. It is gentle. The process is non-dramatic, very low key, but the wonderfully effective.
