The natural ways to heal depression are, in reality, the only ways. Any other way isn’t getting rid of the problem, merely masking it, by taking a drug. That means when you stop the masking, the depression is still there. So you're delaying the inevitable.

Sometimes, that’s the only way you can cope with life.

However, the masking has other problems that you may not know about. Whenever you mask or suppress a natural feeling, symptom or expression, you drive the imbalance that caused it inwards. That’s means your body has to up the anti to get your attention. And that leads to more serious expressions.

You see, the natural feelings or expressions you experience, are your body’s best way of coping with life in the healthiest way possible. Your body is infinitely wise and always strives to keep you healthy.

In today’s upside down world, that means trying to retain your health even when you don’t eat properly, or sleep enough, or relax enough or stop worrying about things you can’t change.

Obviously if you don’t address the cause of the depression (or more likely causes), you can never be shot of it, however many pills you take. And worse still, you will develop much more serious health problems as you deny your body it’s natural outlet of expression.

The much more sensible approach is to look at what brought you to the depression. Possibly, you’re not in the right state of mind to be able to do this. So seek out someone who can.

However, most people have an inkling.

The really common cause can be from not feeling worthy or loved and cherished. These feelings undermine confidence. They're often set up in childhood. Parents do the best they can, but their upbringing can hamper them, too.

Sometimes depression can be caused by deep grief at the loss of someone dear to them.  Generally this is short lived as it goes through various stages to eventual acceptance.

Real food is nutritious whereas the junk and packet lacks nutrition.

Toxins are everywhere. The key is not just to de-tox your body, but to ensure you're limiting your body's exposure.
