The benefits of home schooling can vary according to the guiding wisdom of the parents. However, it is likely to be a far more enriching experience for the child.

Since learning comes from experience, this means the child is much more likely to get a good preparation for adult life ahead.

I was not considered to be the brightest student in my family. In fact my parents sometimes despaired over my school reports. I found school incredibly boring, the most exciting bit being the social aspect. Luckily, that meant I wasn’t pushed towards going to university.

Maybe I was a late developer, but even the first bit of tertiary education I found a bit tedious. Where was it all going, I often wondered? Then, at about 19 or 20, I suddenly decided what I wanted to do, found the college myself and was accepted.

I loved the study and even graduated with an award.

I believe that school hinders the development of young minds. School makes children into obedient robotic, copycats of the norm of society. School doesn’t inspire or excite. In fact, I believe school destroys or controls. Certainly it is better than it was in my day, but I believe most schools still have a long way to go.

Progressive schools are further ahead, but I am still puzzled why people leave the formation of their children’s minds to complete strangers.

Students of the progressive Russian Shchetinin school learn more in a single year of attendance, than they learn in 10 years in normal schools. They are involved with every aspect of the school, from building it, to decorating it, to cooking their own meals, to producing their own fresh produce, to learning the normal subjects.

The whole point of this school is to allow the children freedom, to feel unencumbered, to come and go as they please. The teachers blend with the students. Instead of lessons, there is a problem solving process which brings with it the recalling of things long forgotten.

Schools and most western societies excel at putting children down. Instead, children should be raised up, allowing them to reach their full potential.

This allows them to grow into well balanced adults who are creative and inspiring, but may not tow the accepted line of society.

Not only should people have freedom of expression, a mental freedom if you like, so too should they have a physical freedom of expression. Your body’s signs and symptoms are not problems, to be suppressed. They are wake up calls that what you have been doing up till now is not in your best interest.

Without this freedom, instability, unhappiness occurs. We're out of sync with our inner core. This imbalance can be mild or devastating. Suicide is not uncommon in unhappy people.

The remainder succumb to domination, to being controlled.

When someone is controlled, when they are not allowed to be themselves, tension builds up inside. This is unhealthy and will lead to pathology before too long.

Pathology always starts from inner emotional or mental tension. When this cannot be released in a healthy way, disease occurs.

This means that the benefits of home schooling goes way beyond what is normally considered as eduction. It supports a healthy way of life that repels disease.

Good homeopathic treatment has the potential to release this tension easily and safely.

The end result of that is likely to be an increase in self confidence, something that was lacking in the formative years.
